MarkNewton at RPRMark Newton, a former army Tank Commander from Swansea, holds the Guinness world record for the longest distanced travelled on a mobility scooter – 12,186 miles in 596 days.

This record breaker is visiting every war memorial in Britain to photograph and catalogue War and Lifeboat Graves and Memorials a county at a time- on his mobility scooter. All his images will be on website www.war-graves.co.uk, all the memorial images are also being sent to the Imperial War Museum for the national archive.

Accompanied by his two cats Missie & Smudge, Mark has already raised more than £64000 for the charities – Help for Heroes, 1st The Queens Dragoon Guards, SSAFA Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association, The Royal British Legion, The Royal National Lifeboat Institution.

Mark, on his way to RNLI in Lymington stopped by for a visit to Richard Paul Russell Ltd Milford on Sea office for a cuppa and to upgrade his timeserved red Kestrel 4000, Mark now proudly sports a new Kestrel 4500 on his handbars.
