WindUltra – High Accuracy, Compact Ultrasonic anemometer

The WindUltra High Accuracy, Compact Ultrasonic anemometer has many innovative features making it easier to install while providing best-in-class performance, durability and specification.

WindUltra’s compact design has:
– Cleverly designed mounting options to attach to standard readily available tubes 25-26mm (1”) diameter or 44-51mm (2”) diameter (scaffolding poles) with the minimum use of tools, an important consideration when working at height.
– Easy-to-use alignment features with the sensor detachable from the mounting which also simplifies access to the cable connector.
– Built in optimised heating prevents condensation and icing, extending the operational temperature range while keeping the power required to a minimum.
– A wide range of data output formats and data rate up to 8Hz
– Operation to 75m/s (150 knots).

The WindUtra wind sensor can be used in a wide range of applications where it is necessary to have reliable wind information including cranes, wind farms, ships and ports. It is compatible with our WCU and WeatherFile.com cloud based weather information system providing access to the wind data on any internet connected device.
